Featured
- The ACS Roll Lift is designed to integrate within an ACS In-floor Roll Handling Conveyor system.
- Roll rotation facilitates removal of damaged material prior to loading into the corrugator.
- Supports all widths of corrugators, sheeters, and other converting equipment.
- Compatible with all types of rolled material delivered to the roll stands of converting machinery: Paper, Foil, Plastic, and Non-wovens.
- Maximum calculated load limit: 9,000 lbs. (4082kg).
- Supports all widths of corrugators, sheeters and other converting equipment.
- POM Thermoplastic Chain delivers all types of rolled material to the roll stands of converting machinery: Paper; Foil; Plastic.
- Butt roll return integrates easily into standard roll handling conveyor systems.
- Maximum calculated load rating: 11,000 lbs (4990 kg).
- Can be operated in manual or fully automated modes.
- The Roll Handling Upender is designed to accommodate rolls up to 58” (147.32 cm) Dia x 115” (292.1 cm) Long and has a maximum load rating of 7,000 lbs (3175 kg) .
- The Upender receives rolls in the horizontal position. A pneumatically operated roll catcher cushions the roll as it comes onto the heavy-duty 8” (20.32 cm) POM modular V-belt of the Upender then rotates the roll into the vertical position for transfer onto adjacent conveyor.
- Upender rotation is accomplished using a 10 HP reversing gear motor driving double-80 roller chain.
- Can be installed fully automated or manually operated from the user console.
- Peripheral equipment can be designed and supplied by ACS specific to application requirements.
- ACS Roll Splitters are custom engineered to meet the requirements for every job with units ranging from portable mobile designs for smaller rolls to fixed installations handling rolls up to 72” (183 cm) Diameter x 140” (355.6 cm) Long and weighing up to 10,000 lbs (4536 kg).
- Roll Splitters are designed using the highest quality materials and components to provide a safe and reliable solution for recycling reject paper, non-wovens, plastic and metalized films.
- Hydraulically actuated knives utilize dual side-mounted cylinders to quickly and efficiently cut through rejected rolls significantly reducing labor costs. Cycle times are typically 60 seconds or less.
- All units feature electrical control panels with an external lockable power on/off switch and emergency stop pushbutton.
- Operator consoles can be equipped with either 24 volt or 110 volt controls requiring two-handed actuation.
- The ACS Shaft Extractor is designed for use at the slitter/rewinder to position cores onto a shaft used to rewind slit paper, film, or other non-woven materials from parent rolls then extract the shaft once the slitting cycle is complete.
- Design can be customized to accommodate shafts of varying diameter and lengths.
- Shafts are supported during extraction and reinsertion by a pneumatic pop-up support roller designed for easy setup to accommodate multiple shaft diameters.
- The ACS Shaft Extractor can be operated manually or integrated into existing system controls. A control console is provided for manual operation and selection of automatic mode of control.
