Load Handling Devices: Mobile
Round Pivot Cars are designed to rotate around a centrally-located floor-mounted pivot pin making it a versatile transfer device at a two- or three-way intersection.
Round Pivot Cars are available with Roller beds, including the Integrated Chain Transfer, utilizing trued rollers to ensure smooth load movement and minimize drive loading.
Designed for transfer of standard size loads without rotating utilizing the Integrated Chain Transfer Unit for reduced cycle time, or rotating to transfer non-standard / longer loads.
Maximum load rating of 3,000 lbs. (1,361 kg).
Round Pivot Cars can be operated in automatic or manual mode and are a major link in the mechanized portion of an ACS material handling system.
Round Pivot Cars are designed to rotate around a centrally-located floor-mounted pivot pin making it a versatile transfer device at two-, three- or four-way intersections.
Round Pivot Cars are available with a Powered Live Roller bed utilizing trued rollers to ensure smooth load movement and minimize drive loading or with modular plastic belting to provide a solid load platform and minimize damage to bottom sheets during load transfer.
Designed for a maximum load rating of 33,000 lbs. (14,982 kg.)

- Round Pivot Cars are designed to rotate around a centrally-located floor-mounted pivot pin making it a versatile transfer device at a two- or three-way intersection.
- Round Pivot Cars are available with modular plastic USP belting to provide a solid load platform and minimize damage to bottom sheets during load transfer. Round Pivot Cars can also be equipped with a Powered Live Roller bed utilizing trued rollers to ensure smooth load movement and minimize drive loading.
- Designed for a maximum load rating of 6,000 lbs. (2721.5 kg) with load distributed evenly across a minimum of 6 belts.

The Round Pivot Car with integrated Bundle Transfer Device is designed to only rotate counter-clockwise when necessary. The Car can both receive or discharge loads from either the Powered Live Rollers or the QNB plastic transfer chains allowing transfer of standard size loads onto a perpendicular conveyor line without the Pivot Car rotating. When rotation is required, the Car does not have to return to a “home” position before receiving the next load therefore minimizing cycle time.
Optional Load Assist Islands are available.
Round Pivot Cars can be operated in automatic or manual mode.
Rectangular Pivot Cars pivot around a floor-mounted pivot pin and provide automatic retrieval and discharge to / from perpendicular conveyor lines.
The ACS Rectangular Pivot Car with Stedi-Stak beds utilizes modular belting to provide a more stable load surface than is available with typical roller beds.
Modular Stedi-Stak beds provide a tight nosing radius for more efficient load transfer.
ACS Pivot Cars can be configured with different sizes or types of conveyor beds, including modular Stedi-Stak, Powered Live Roller, Chain-driven Roller, or Chain Transfer.

- Rectangular Pivot Cars pivot around a floor-mounted pivot pin and provide automatic retrieval and discharge to / from conveyor lines at various angles.
- Small diameter head and tail rollers combined with Stationary Load Assist Islands used where the radius end of the Car aligns with the conveyor lines allow for efficient operation and transfer of small loads.

- Shuttle Cars are designed to traverse open aisles following an in-floor track to pick-up and deliver loads from conveyor line to conveyor line.
- Shuttle Cars can be configured with a variety of configurations and sizes of conveyor beds, either Roller or modular Stedi-Stak beds. On multiple bed Shuttle Cars, each bed can be operated either independently or in unison.

Transfer Cars move loads from conveyor to conveyor in an aisle. The car travels in the aisle, guided by an in-floor track. Transfer Cars are typically equipped with two belt-powered conveyors that operate independently or in tandem, or with four conveyor beds as illustrated above. TCAR’s can also be equipped with turning posts to rotate loads once onboard.
The Transfer Car comes equipped with a state-of-the-art SICK laser detection system to protect against unintentional contact with personnel or other objects that may be in the TCAR’s path. An optional backup camera system with full color 7” monitor is also available.
Cars are of one-piece construction. The frame is flexible enough to follow the contour of the floor, yet rigid enough to transfer the weight of the load to the drive and braking wheels.
Transfer Cars can be operator-controlled or integrated into an automatic conveyor system. A control console is provided for safety function, manual operation, and selection of automatic modes of operation.
