Floor Conveyors
Stedi-Stak is a state-of-the-art modular plastic chain conveyor system. It provides a solid traveling surface for unit loads and offers many advantages.
Each section of the conveyor is powered independently allowing simultaneous stack movement and load building. Gaps between adjacent sections have been significantly minimized to provide greater stability and insure transfer of the smallest stack sizes.
The Stedi-Stak can be used for most folding carton and corrugated conveying applications. It is ideally suited to corrugator outfeeds and machine infeed sheet staging systems. Though well suited for use in processes not utilizing pallets, its high level of durability allows it to also perform well in applications requiring finished goods pallets.
- A SafeWalk Conveyor allows plant personnel to safely cross a conveyor line. Full-width Stedi Stak modular plastic chain provides a stable walking and solid working surface over the entire width of the conveyor.
- Rugged steps on both sides include non-skid surface for additional safety.
- Under normal operating conditions, SafeWalk conveyor is electrically controlled such that at no time shall a stationary load be present impeding egress.
- Activating the control console mounted to the light pole stops units upstream. The green light indicates that it is safe to cross. On the opposite side, the operator returns the system back to production mode at the touch of a button.
- Safety measures include traffic lights and non-skid steps. Yellow strips interspersed at prescribed intervals along the blue Stedi-Stak chain allowing personnel to easily spot the conveyor's movement.
A Roller Conveyor can be used as outrigger or stand-alone gravity conveyor when precise and powered control of the load is not essential.
The side frame is 3” (76 mm) structural channel with a welded flat bar assembly to support the roller axles. The leg assemblies are bolted into place and are designed to be used on the end, center or at the joint.
Drop-in rollers, made from 14 gauge 2.5” (64 mm) diameter seamless welded galvanized tubing with a pressed-in sealed bearing, are placed on 3” (76 mm) centers.
- Powered Live Roller Accumulating Conveyors (PLRA) are low profile, belt-driven, live roller conveyors which can provide zero-pressure load accumulation.
- PLRA conveyors have the capability to fully accumulate several loads without gaps and virtually eliminate pressure on the downstream load.
- The tension rollers on a PLRA conveyor turn when the drive motor is activated. The load-carrying rollers turn only when the tension rollers and drive belt are raised pneumatically to contact the load-carrying rollers. In effect, a PLRA conveyor is at times a gravity conveyor while at other times it is a powered conveyor.

- Medium Duty Chain Driven Conveyors are ideal for use where live roller conveyor is not needed.
- Due to the simple design, shorter lengths can be used than with standard belt-driven conveyor. Common applications include being mounted atop a scissor lift or used as a Transfer Car bed.
- Typical Top-of-Roller height is 12” (30.5 cm). However, the TOR can be lowered by mounting the motor/reducer outside the conveyor, or can be higher when mounted on sturdy legs.
- Medium duty Chain Driven Roller Conveyor uses 2-1/2” (6.35 cm) OD galvanized chain driven and drop-in rollers with 11/16” (1.75 cm) solid hex axles mounted in 11/16” (1.75 cm) nylon bushing to achieve a maximum load of 3,000 lbs. (1,360 kg).
Heavy Duty Chain Driven Conveyors are ideal for use where a belt driven live roller conveyor cannot be used.
Many applications may require a short section of Chain Driven Conveyor to act as a bridge between belt driven conveyor or devices. The simple design and construction of Chain Driven Conveyor allows sections to be shorter in length than standard belt driven conveyors.

Heavy-duty Chain Driven Roller Conveyor uses 3-1/2” (8.9 cm) OD chain driven rollers mounted using sealed 2-bolt flange bearings to achieve a maximum load of 3,000 lbs. (1,360 kg).
- ACS Stedi-Stak Scrap Conveyor uses PVC coated laced fabric belting to provide a solid traveling surface for waste materials exiting the process.
- Designed to be mounted within a pit, the gear motor is mounted high on the exterior side frame for easy access.
- The design is easily customized for varied between frame widths and overall length, and utilizes adjustable supports for accurate Top-of-Belt height adjustment.
