Who We Are
Since 1975, Automated Conveyor Systems has designed, manufactured, installed, and serviced material handling systems for the corrugated and folding carton industries. Today, ACS is a privately held company based in Lynchburg, Virginia, combining in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities with experienced installation teams and ongoing customer support.
From individual equipment solutions to complete turnkey systems and facility upgrades, we work alongside our customers to develop practical, reliable solutions built around their operations.

Our History
In 1975, James Taylor and George Ramsey founded Automated Conveyor Systems in historic downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. What began as a local manufacturing operation has grown through six facility expansions into a company serving customers across the United States and internationally.
Throughout that growth, ACS has continued to invest in its people, facilities, and manufacturing capabilities. Today, engineering, fabrication, and administrative operations work together in a state of the art building in Lynchburg to support conveyor systems installed around the world.
